What to do, My new 88 crewcab dually c30 toy 1st time on my own

Just got me a chevy 88 crewcab dually, first project, well, what can I say, bought it 2 weeks ago, came with a 350 engine,(got it running) not original, original was a 454 but it was replaced by last owner. Well I have never rebuilt a carburetor there for I got a friend mechanic do it for me for a small fee$$$ its an edelbrock 750cfm carb, it also has an edelbrock intake manifold, don't know much about it other then the body is straight, I cleaned the gas tanks, replaced fuel filters, fixed and replaced leaking hoses from power steering pump, nice tune up to go with it. the rear back fender on the driver side is missing a big piece, dont know what to do with that, hopefully someone here will point me out in the right direction. I live in Pasadena, TX and I would like to learn more about cars and engines, so if you need an extra hand and live near send me an pm. I would like to learn more.
