A little off topic. But I want your opinion!
My son has a 87' SWB truck. 350 stock, fuel injected. This is what he wants to do. He wants to put a comp. cam in it .454 lift, 268 duration, 12 bolt rearend with 373's. headers. I have a set of alum. heads that came off of a L98 vette engine, that I was going to use on a 383 for my truck, but decided to go with a different set of heads, any ways, I am thinking about putting these heads on his truck, they have had bigger valves installed in them, and have been ported and polished, competion valve job done on them. The combustion chambers are 59 cc's, so this will bumb up the compression on his truck just a little. I think the engine now has 8.5:1 with 72 cc heads. If we decide to add these parts to this engine, will the stock fuel injection work out ok on this? If not what will have to be done to make it work? I don't know nothing about electronic fuel injection. What are yall's take on this? Also is there a better intake manifold to get for this set up other then the stock intake keep in mind it is electronic fuel injected?
Sam
