could this be made to work in a floorshift application? Would it be as simple as taking off the shift indicator and shifter. I really need a new column as mine is just flat worn out and I'd rather just buy a new piece once than buy used and chance having to do it again anyways.

Is there anything else to consider replacing when installing a new column? I feel like such a newb asking these questions LOL
