Nothing Fits?
I thought I was about to wrap one step up but now I am back to square 1.
Despite advice from vendors -- 1975 rotors are not compatible with 1968 hubs because the rotors have larger holes for the studs to pass through than the hubs do. #2 -- I do not have a clue what studs to use. I have tried 3 sizes now and not a one of them will work right. The original drum studs are too short, the only other part number I can find for these hubs is too long, wont seat (so Advanced Auto is f.o.s. saying the y are for this hub) and the rotors rattle around on them. Wasted money and time that I didn't have to begin with... getting old. I can only barely afford this hobby to begin with and vendors sending me off to buy hundreds of dollars of the wrong parts is not helping. Has anyone done this disc brake swap for the rear without sending a mortgage payment to a vendor for sutom parts (that I am betting won't fit right either!) HO52 8 lug rear using brackets from RuffStuff and 75 K-20 front rotors.
