found a 72 cheyenne super survivor!!

As luck would have it, I was on the way to pick up my truck from the paint shop last week, and saw this truck for sale. It was for sale by the 83 year old original Sacramento owner, and he was asking $2,000, but took my offer of $1400. I had to tell the paint shop I'd be back the next day...

Now comes the fun part of deciding how best to bring it back to it's former glory! It has the original engine, trans, driveline, paint, radio, etc, and is beautiful underneath. No visible rust in any area at all. Wouldn't start at first, as it had sat for over 5 years, but after draining the tank, and a can of Seafoam with 5 gallons of super, and a fresh battery, and a new fuel filter, she reluctlantly fired up and then cleaned right out in about 5 minutes. Now it runs great, actually.

Has anyone seen this seat cover before? I hadn't seen one like this, and the old man couldn't remember much at all. His Grandson handled all the paperwork.
Anyways, please enjoy the pics!
