Front sway bar

83 2wd C10

I am transferring my truck onto a new frame. The new frame doesn't have the brakets that are on the bottom of the frame that the sway bar bushings bolt to. The brakets that are on my old frame are bent.

My question is, can I bolt the sway bar bushings straight to the frame or are these brakets neccessary?

Not sure if this makes any difference but the front of my truck will be lowered 5" via 2 1/2" springs and 2 1/2" spindles.
