front end rattle?
My 87 gmc has this rattle coming from the front shocks ALL THE TIME. I tracked it down to the upper mounting studs coming loose. This has happened before and I re-tightened them about 6 months ago and it came back in just a few weeks and i just havent messed with it again.
Now the shocks are 4 years old anyway and have a lifetime replacement and so i'm going to swap them out this week anyway but...the new ones come with new studs and washers of course but no lock washers? only flat ones. just like whats on there now. should i buy additional lock washers to fix it? are the nuts supposed to be lock nuts?
