Grinding sound from rear end when turning

Ok WTF! New rear end with locker...opened the diff drain the oil and did not see anything wrong with the inside! Jacked it up turn the wheels no grinding or tension when turning wheels!????! it happends at low and high speeds! Does anyone have any idea what the hell this is? Im guessing it mite be my axle bearings????
