Buying a parts truck - Is it worth it?
I need a few parts to finish my truck and have found most of the parts.... but the guy wants to sell them all together. He doesn't want to part it out.
This truck is a 72 3/4 with clean title. It has an AC cab, functioning factory air system, 400 transmission, factory auxiliary tank, a couple sets of trim, 2 good pair of fenders, 2 sets of doors (1 good, 1 rusted), brand new weather stripping, two hoods (1 great, 1 fair), rolling chassis with a good rear end. No engine. What I'm looking to keep are the best pair of fenders, the best pair of doors, the best set of trim, the weatherstripping, and a few misc parts. I'll definitely be getting rid of the AC cab with title, the rolling chassis, the rear end, and the 400 transmission. Would this deal be worth the $650 the guy is asking?
