LSx swaps - what headers you using?
Just as the title says...what headers are you running, how do they fit (list mods needed), and hows there quality/looks?
I'm looking at several different options for larger (1 3/4" or 1 7/8", even stepped) tube headers. The DT headers fit the 67-72 trucks excellent...but only have 1 5/8" primaries, so they're a bit small for the larger displacement/horsepower LSx swaps. I'm looking at these pretty seriously right now...only I have no idea of delivery time...which to me is becoming a bigger issue the longer I wait to get them. dynatech LSx swap headers image available here: http://www.speedwaymotors.com/NEW-Dy...LS2,41921.html They have 1 7/8" primaries and either 2.5" or 3" collectors, 3/8 flanges, 4 bolt collectors, reducers inlcuded, and they're ceramic coated...all for $399! Of course if it takes over a month the get them....
