Fed Up!
As you all have seen my threads over the past year on trying to get my 78 k10 running again, it finally happened. I rebuilt the motor and put it in and have had it running for about a month now and been adjusting things on it in my spare time, now that everythig is adjusted and its running smooth i can hear a good ol rod knock in the bottom end. So I'm FED UP! after dad and i dropping $1800 in a small block cause we got screwed and it having absolutely no power, to this big block which has been in and out of this truck twice and is now knocking, its time to either crush the ol girl or send it down the road i think. I love these old trucks, but let me tell ya i hopped in my 2000 f150 last night it fired right up, purred so quietly i couldn't even tell it was running. It always outpulled my 78 and would even outhaul it and it hasn't left me stranded yet. So i think its time to say goodbye to this carberated stuff for a while, get through school and keep driving whats reliable.
