Drive Shaft Help, 1 or 2 Piece?

I was wondering if you guys have any advice for choosing a drive shaft, right now there is just under 6 inches between the transfer case tail housing and the front of bearing support from the original two piece drive shaft. Th plans would be to run a drive shaft with double cardan joint, I know it's best to locate the joint at the same pivot location as the suspension which should be on the rear side of the bearing support, the question is how to get the joint in that location.

The solutions would be:

1. Run a two piece drive shaft with standard slip yoke, bearing support, with a very sort intermediate shaft.

2. Run a one piece drive shaft and new cross member with the joint located in front of the suspension pivot.

3. Run a one piece drive shaft and relocate the cross member forward and make some longer trailing arms to relocate the suspension pivot location

4. Relocate the engine and tranny further back to place the joint in the ideal location.

I just wanted to get some of your thoughts on which solution would be best or if there is another viable resolution to the problem, thanks.
