Great Score for me!!!!!
Well I was surfing Craigslist for nothing in particular and I ran across an ad for 73-79 Truck parts and I clicked on it and I found a little gold mine. I scored a 73 Camper Special Cab with title and a little rust in the normal places. A nice bumper with brackets, a core support(not in that great of shape), the bottom grill piece with trim, upper grill trim piece, both headlight buckets and a very nice 73 grill with the 350 logo, and the dash pad that is structurally sound with the normal cracks. I got all this for $200 by the way. Now all I need is some fenders, a hood and all the small pieces to make my 85 a 73. I will have to make some repairs on the grill and try and fix the p.side headlight bezel and find a d.side bezel. Can I get it rechromed somewhere and then paint the parts that need paint? How can I fix the upper and lower trim pieces? How can I fix the grill where it is cracked? Here are some pics:
