What Is The Rule on a "Classic Truck, Class?"?

Hey guys I have had my man ego punched and kicked today at a local car show. I entered a Custom Truck Class today, there was a 1955 Chevy my 1964 GMC,a beat down rusted 1965 C-10, and a 1964 El Camino. After all the judging was done, they awarded the El Camino the Plaque for Classic Truck!
Here is my Beef, how many people think that an El Camino, Brat, or a Ranchero should be in the Classic Truck Class? Are they or are they not on Car Chassis?
Here's my $.02 add to the bill or kick me some more, what do you think?
