Lightbulb Ordering Online Through PartsAmerica.com

Here is something I learned today. I was looking for some new Dayco Top Cog belts through PartsAmerica.com, which serves Shucks, Checkers, & Kragen. Prices were $8.49 for the alternator & power steering belts and $10.99 for a total of $27.97 and I can place my order, then pickup at my local Shucks Auto Supply, as the system showed them in stock. Rather than ordering online, I just went down to the store. As the clerk processed the sale, the total came to $39. I said WHOA! I told him the price was way less online & why the difference. He said online prices are cheaper because they are trying to promote online sales. He asked if I still wanted them. I said no, I'll just go home and place the order online and come back and pick up the same belts, only $12 cheaper. He should have just said, you don't have to do that, we'll honor that price, but he didn't. Oh Brother!
