c3500hd leafs for 80's 1 ton

i was interested in putting some of those extra heavy duty after market 3 inch wide c3500hd leaf springs on a 88 k30, they are the the same overall length as the originals but the originals have a 26 inch front to center pin and a 30 rear to center pin, and the c3500hd has 28 on both, my question was would they work or would i have to move the axle or what?
