Yay, I might be getting myself a 79 burb!
About 120 original kilometers, needs some body work, an new engine and a new windshield, but everything else is as good as new! Our family owned this vehicle for about a year, and it was awesome, then we sold it to my uncle... It probally hasn't had any fluids but gasoline added to it since it was sold to them three years ago, and the engine just quit, so I am gonna ask them if I can buy it back, or even have it back. This is the third engine that they have wrecked this year, so I doubt they will want to put a new engine into it. The tranny and everything else are in incredibly good condition. When we bought the truck, it had about 70 original kilometers, all from driving it into town for monthly fluid changes. The truck was in absolute mint condition, not even a scratch other than two holes on the roof where the emergency lights were. The burb was originally an ambulance that was never actually used in any emergency situations, but sat in a heated garage just waiting to be used. The engine was incredibly clean, and shiny... I am hoping to fix the side where it was side swiped, and fix the engine using parts from my donor truck's engine then sell it for around 3000 to pay for insurance on my truck, or to buy new parts for my truck.
