Idea, any help appreciated
I have this idea of converting my '65 c-10 to push button start.
I suck when it comes to wiring but have an idea of what I want. My thought is to install the push button start in place of my factory cigarette lighter. My theory is that one leg of the current switch controls the starter when turned all the way to the right at the momentary position. I'd like to somehow have the ignition switch become the accessory side while still being required to be turned on to power the starter button. I am thinking something like this kit: http://www.keepitcleanwiring.com/cat...--LED-Red-Ring or this: http://www.keepitcleanwiring.com/cat...n-Start-Switch Am I out of my mind or is this a simple conversion without hacking to death my Painless harness? |
