Re: anyone used expanding foam in there cab ???
OK guys let me clear this up I am NOT using the spray foam that you get had the lumber yard or hardware store Im going to use a commercial CLOSED CELL, NON EXPANDING foam that is made for automotive use (READ MY LAST POST) right now I am researching products made by 3M, DOW,and DUPONT once I find the RIGHT product (THE ONE THAT I FEEL MOST COMFORTABLE WITH) I am going to experiment on a old cab first
One thing that concerns me right now is PREP these products seem to suggest that for these to work right prep is important and there is NO way to prep inside the roof panels. does anyone know what, if anything GM did to the metal that wasnt exposed did they use any kind of coating or inhibitor on them ?
