Sounds like you got some fun ahead of you!! I think you found the second of 4 sets of bolts. From the front, my wood bed short step has a set about 3" back, 7" back, about 6" behind the rear and at the very end of the frame rails. (The LMC '67-'72 truck parts catalog has a good diagram for this.) Not sure if the wood bed is different from the steel one.... Good luck,
