Radio Flyer

Well I have a little boy due september 4th, and well i got to thinking. Any vehicle I have ever owned was modified one way or another, why should my son to be's first "ride" be "stock"? Mom had an newerish (10 years) radio flyer sitting in the back yard that was pretty beat up, I was going to grab some john deere green paint from work, some large dolly tires paint it green, lift it and widen it. While i was wire brushing it down to paint it i thought it was starting to look kinda cool patina style. So I ran out to home depot and grabbed some tremclad satin clear. It's going to get a 3'ish drop and get cleared. Some pics as it sits.

What I started with after a tiny bit of wire brushing.

Front section

For the front I flipped the whole steering assebly, and put the "crown" on the inside, I will still need to fab up a spacer for it. I needed to cut the axle the wheels will need to be pushed out at the "stubs" welded to the frame so that it will steer with the tub sitting on it.

For the rear i plan on bending up a piece of flat bar similar to the "stock" rear frame but shorter.
