im back to working on my truck
hey guys its been a while lots of stuff has happend lately
well i wrecked my 77 big ten on june the 10th of this year which bent the axle and frame and now im driving my 79 as a daily, and the 79 is workin out to be a good DD becouse of its long wheel base and soft suspention(good ride quality) the old 250 is giving me bout 16 mpg on the highway which is about double what the 77 got (i am thrilled to death about that). The new plans for my 79 is to replace my verijet carb with a regular 2bbl carb on the 250, i got a good frend that is a machinest and me and him are workin out an addapter for that, becouse he has a 79 short bed k10 with a 250 and he experinces all the cold natured problems that i have with mine. In 15 months i have a CD coming mature and i am gonna buy a 4.8 crate motor http://paceperformance.com/i-5146486...e-package.html and mount a t-5 behind that. but until then i am gonna add a set of sway bars and keep the old 250 running good. i have also been building a hitch for it in my spart time
