question for Swervin...
Hi Mike ,
I got some trouble three weeks ago , the left lower ball joint went south , broken in two pieces. I took a look at your site , on the front end section. My upper ball joint is still in position & seems not have suffered from the accident. How should I remove the remains of the lower ball joint from the spindle , without having to remove the upper ball joint ? For the remains of the joint on the control arm , a good heavy hammer should be up to do the job... I understoud also that the new lower ball joint to be put on the lower control arm has just to be put into place , while my spare parts specialist told me I had better to dismantle that lower arm and put the new joint with a hydraulic press... What do you think ? Thanks the Baron |
