Engine Ticking

OK guys just got the 72 C10 350 rebuilt and in the truck. I have an engine test stand and it ran perfect and runs perfect now that it is in the truck. Except for the fact that I have a ticking sound, its not an exhaust leak, I thought the valves needing adjusting again and that would fix it. Well I did it while running and once the slack was out I turned it another 3/4 turn. And I must say don't want to do it again while the engine is running what a freaking mess oil everywhere. Anyway I can't get the ticking out. When I first crank it up there is not ticking but after a couple of minutes it starts ticking. If I go in lets say to get something at the store for 5-10 minutes and come out crank it no ticking then after a couple of minutes it comes back. Does anyone have any ideas here is my setup.
