Wheel Swap

My 67 Suburban 2WD has 6 bolt wheels, of course and I'm wanting to install winter tires on a spare set of rims. I'm wondering if newer Chev wheels (from the 90's) will fit OK without problems. Are the original wheel studs long enough to mount aluminum wheels? Or do I stay with steel wheels. How about the hub hole? Are they a fit?
