My 1956 Chevrolet Task Force 3200
Hey Guys,
I just joined the forum and I wanted to upload some pictures of my 1956 Chevrolet Task Force 3200 and ask some questions. It is a three speed and came with air conditioning if the engine is original (I still have to remove the engine). The body is in really good shape no bondo, pretty straight, truck from Nevada. The person we bought it from had it recently painted and covered up the interior trim tag, I pretty sure it was originally a Tropical Turquoise interior and exterior. I had to sand the trim tag to even figure out what the original package was (sanding probably wasn’t the best idea, but I was anxious). The cowl tag is missing completely from the passenger side firewall, is that the correct place for the cowl tag, or is there somewhere else I should look? The truck also has some pretty rare options from what I can see: big back window, spot light, two spoke steering wheel. Was this all part of a package and was there anything else included? If you find anything that I haven’t noticed in the pictures that are helpful feel free to comment. My brother and I are working on making it a daily driver. Thanks for the help I really appreciate it! The first three pictures is the work we done since acquiring the truck. The last two pictures are from the day we got the truck. The trim tag says: Trim= 443 J and Paint= 740. Thanks Guys!
