Try the cheap painted headers and see if they're worth it. About 140.00 pr.
Do you have the factory dual exhaust? Mine didn't have any controls other than a knock sensor. My EGR is still there, just not hooked up. I believe the de-cell went with the pumps and plumbing (maybe). I did keep the PCV and vapor canister. I went with the headers when I tried to remove the spider from the manifold, and galled every one I broke loose. Painted headers were cheaper than replacing the manifolds. I did find out that the air tubes go to the manifold, inside the manifold is another "stub" air tube. It actually is in the manifold and extends into the exhaust port of the head about 1-1/2", same diameter as the spider tubes.
