V-belts hindering sucess
So Ive installed everything required to add power steering to my 250 I6.
My pulleys ALL line up perfectly, I thank the good lord for that! So the problemo is that, the V-belt that goes one the PS pump is touching the spindle on the Alternator as such in Pic #1 and the above shot in pic #2 I know this is an issue, not sure if its a safety issue per-say but im 99.99% sure it will cause premature failure of the belt left as is. the belts are 50013 for the PS pump and 39315 for the alternator, and ive tried using shorter/ longer lengths for both belts but still come up with the same problem as in the picture just different sides of the spindle. if I were to use spacers it would throw off the pulley alignments... sooo what would you think be the answer?
