Adjusted Trans Cable Mileage Improvement?

The other day I decided to adjust my trans cable. I knew it was a little loose, so after a few tries and test drives I think I've got it right. I haven't checked it for sure but even though it's holding gears a little longer and the RPM's are up a little, I swear it's getting better mileage around town. I will check it for certain over the next couple of days.
