Would this work?

http://www.easyexport.us/carfinder/v...=4c05538a458b1

what would be stopping me from taking this vehicle and putting it's 6.0 and transmission into my 79 Blazer?

I am trying to learn what I would need to swap to a LSX. I would like to buy a salvaged vehicle like this one is and then just transfer everything over.

What stuff would swap and what would I need to buy in addition to the vehicle? I know there are things like the harness that need to be modified, and the ECM needs to be programed, but are there anything else I should get?

I am tired of the 6 MPG and I think this would be a good swap and a way to fix the mileage.
