55 2nd series speedo/gauges in a 58

Hello all, I have a very nice speedo/gauge cluster from a 2nd series 55 that I would like to use in my 58. I assume there are no issues with this right? I notice the temo sending unit on the 55 cluster is a non-electric one (just a probe that screws into the intake with a copper line for connection) while on the 58 the gauge has two electrical terminals. I assume I can just install the corret fitting into my intake (its a crate 350) and use the 55 cluster with the "mechanical" temp sender. Can you guys confirm i can use this 55 cluster in the 58? ANy other electrical considerations?

THanks,
Mark
