If you could use the $$ you have put into your truck & use it to buy another truck.

Would the truck you could buy be better? (and I mean a 67-72) I ask because I bought my 68 for $1000 and it looked great. But mechanically I have had to do a lot and I have spent about $3000 more. Now my goal is just a dependable, daily driver that looks decent from 30 feet away and I have got there. (Fingers crossed.) But I have seen some great trucks for $4000.

The benefits of my situation was I got to personalize it & gain experience and of course the trucks I have seen probably need work too but I still wonder.
