Braking improvements?
My '73 K20 stops alright, but it could be better. I've been wanting to install some disc brakes in the rear and maybe even a hydroboost setup. The other day I had a bit of a panic stop, and I locked up the wheels and skidded on dry pavement for a ways. I didn't know my truck could do that. The question is, if I can already lock up the brakes if I want to, how is modifying the brake system going to make it stop faster?
