I went 11.82 in the truck in my avatar. Its a 496 with a set of mild ported 781's with, stock valves. It has 10.3 comp with a solid flat tappet cam and a gasket matched 70's torkerII and a 950hp. With the 9", I'm going to put 325/50/15 M/T drag radials. I've also got Camaro coils in the front and, I cut out 4 of the 6 plies on the leaf springs. I also made up my own caltracs too as well as, Comp Engineering drag shocks at all four corners. I don't understand why some of the guys in this thread are saying that, faster than 12's in these trucks is crazy. My truck was very stable on all of the passes I made that day.

Not with a big block! That's easy. But making a sbc do it and be Daily driver as well. Just a lot tougher
