Re: 3spd manual trans crossmember-where is it?

When I bought my truck, it had originally been a std. trans. truck, the p.o. changed it to a 700r--torched out "most" of the original std. crossmember and added some rear cross member out of something for the rear of the 700r.
I am changing over to a muncie m 20. Ill be using the auto crossmember from gmc pauls at the rear of the trans.
Ive built several cars down thru the years and I really dont like the trans hanging out in space. Just my opinion.
