Footbrake vs transbrake

Well 1 week before the season opener looks like our track is going the way im guessing the rest of you race . Last year we had a true , pure , no electronics "footbrake" class and a full electronics class called "super pro" . This year it will be no box and box . or "E" & "NO-E" something to this effect .

The way i understand it is the E class will be all the bells and whistles/gadgets you want , which people top bulb race . The NO-E class will be no electronic gadgets except transbrakes and 2-steps for leaveing . My truck is set up with a sportsman brake and it will go in the teens as set up without tieing the front down , so im good either way as i index race 7.0 and use it there . The question is , is there any advantages to leaving off a trans brake over footbrake ? I understand the 2-step keeping the rpm consistant every pass but without a delay box is there really an advantage ? My truck seems to like footbrake better .Im on a 28 true and track conditions and of coarse the truck weight bias thing make as much weight transfer as possible a good thing . Truck averages .015 off foot and the best ive ever been is .018 off the brake .

Just looking for opinions here and good discussion . As i will probably start testing on off weekends with the brake .
