3/4 ton lowering question

I keep coming into dead ends trying to find a company that makes what I need in order to drop my truck. It's a 76 Sierra grande 3/4 ton I know people have done them before. So was wondering if I can use the same drop spindles for the 1/2 tons? Same flip kits too? I'm afraid to order and be SOL due to getting the wrong stuff. I do not want to cut the c notches so however low I can get without doing that and keeping it reasonable to be a dd. Sorry for asking a topic that I'm sure has been asked a million times.
