New member with '66 stepside

Just dropping in to finally say hi. I picked up a '66 C10 step-side about a month ago that supposedly had a frame off resto ten years ago. It's surprisingly straight, but there are a lot of things that seemed rushed to get her back together. Once I tear into her more I'm sure there'll be more surprises.

Today I just picked up a low mileage LQ4 / 4L80e combo that I was able to witness running. I'm super excited to replace that lump of a 454 in there with some modern technology. The swap looks simple enough, but I'd like to stab that motor in there with not too much hassle. I live in an apt. right now and have a one bay garage, so it should be interesting! I'll be counting on any LS experts to help me through the conversion.

Anyways I look forward to interacting with everybody and hopefully meet some of you on the road!
