Is there a way to check signal and flasher function w/o column installed

Trying to get the wiring figured out on this 69 truck. Have everything working except turn signals and hazards.
Is there any way to test these functions with out the steering column installed?
I assume there is a way to manually manipulate these functions.
Can somebody walk me through this ?

Bed is off so rear harness is not plugged into anything if that matters.
