1972/1966

I have a 1966 Chevrolet C10 and 1972 GMC donor truck that I am going to use the motor, trans, power steering, front end and rear end and install it in the 66.
The rear end on the 66 has coil springs and the GMC has leaf springs on it. Does anyone know if there is anywhere I can find the coil spring mounts somewhere or will I need to cut and weld off the old rear end?
Also I was told that the splindles and calipers on the 1972 will fit the 1966 with the hubs and drums with no problem.
Any information on this will be very helpful.
