heat riser and headers

I have a set of ram horns like in the picture below on my 327. I was thinking about replacing them with headers but was wondering what to do about the rough cold starts without the heat Riser no longer in the exhaust pipe. (I would also have to mount my alternator somewhere else.) Without the heat riser I have to flutter the gas pedal until the cold light goes out. Is there a heat riser for headers or should I just run duals out the ram horns;
