LS Longhorn, game just started
The old LS is across the rails of the 69....fit is good! I used the stock I 6 stands, but slotted them forward, & added 5/8" in front. With the Carshop inc plates, she came spot on the measure, with the trans cross member moved 1" forward. The Hooker street rod shorties fit great...(better than 1" clearance, tween the 1st tube & the stand. The old booger is mounted to a 55 chev (car bell, & fastened to a 6 spd Richmond box. Specs on the engine...stock, 138,000 rounds....top fresh (pressure test/surface/grind & set of LS6 springs). She has the GMPP streetrod pan (H-3 hummer), & the fit is good, for the cash spent.....she could easy run the camero , or caddy pan tho ...pan hangs about 3/4" below the crossmember? Not an issue on my ride, but for the "slammer crowd", you will probably want the camero pan? I know you guys want pics....I am a little computer "challenged", but will try to get one of the boys out to shoot some pics Longhorn
