His truck has an Eaton HO52. Could I pull the axle shafts, drop the drive line, and flip the whole carrier over? the bolt pattern is symmetrical.

I would finally be able to one-up him(he always seems to be the better thinker).

I would, of course, refill it with oil.

What would the end effect be?

It's not like the truck would drive backwards, or anything like that, right?
