Tilt column wiring harness conversion

There has been a lot of talk lately about column swaps and thought I would post an easy solution. 73-79 tilt columns come with a flat harness connector. Our trucks have the half moon style. There is a connector through CPP for $19.95 or get the GM O.E one ACDelco 1894851 for abot $10.00. You will have to wire up your own emergency flasher with either of these. The $35.00 ones come with a pre-wired flasher.

My column came with the body side harness cut back 6 inches which allowed me to add some standard female connectors.

At this point you simply shove the color coded wire into the corresponding color terminal at the half moon connector. Works like a charm for about $1
