mcmlxix Collector of Projects Join Date: Apr 2003 Location: Las Vegas Posts: 3,106	Transmission Filter Gasket Issues I have a 2008 Sierra with the 4L60e. I went to change the trans fluid and put in a new filter. The gasket for the filter will not come out of the transmission.... All I did was mangle the existing gasket. I'm sure its the original because the filter is date stamped November 2007... Is there a trick? A special tool?
