Maybe I missed something, but I didn't notice anyone mention the fact that custom made shortbeds don't have the same value as a factory shortbed. If it's for your own pleasure, it can make sense. But if your trying to flip one, it doesn't. Using a nice lb to upgrade a lesser sb can make sense, but building your own may not. Just my .02c
