well....I lucked out a bit today so I thought I'd share.

Plus as an added bonus I got a brand new 60 gallon (John Woods) hot water heater for $100 from the same guy (Electrician cleaning out his shop!!).
Now the motor is nothing too special...I believe its a 1975 Truck engine that was the guys grandfathers and it was supposedly running well when removed...but I needed an engine stand so I figure thats worth $30 in the deal...taking the motor down to a $50 commitment.
I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the motor yet...maybe compression test...then sell as a 'builder' or?

Still.....who doesn't like or can't resist a good deal?...LOL

if you dont need the engine i say invest a couple of hundred bucks on a bearing/ring and gasket kit and throw some paint on it and you might get 700 to 900 bucks for it , provided the heads and block are in good shape
