electrical demons

so my dad's 87 burb needs an exorcist. the thing that worked last before he died and the burb rolled its eyes back also where turning the blinker on left and pulling out the light switch to get a spark.

yesterday my brother and myself tried starting the beast and nothing. could not get a spark from anything, the engine turns over, but all we do is flood the engine becuase its not sparking. i remember my old man saying the mother board was fried or something. and the whole wiring harness is done.

is it possible to cut some of the wiring out of the burb? i know about the power windows and such. but is there anything that can help two kids fight these electrical demons?

thanks guys.
