Porterbuilt Questions, Trailing arms & crossmember

I see porterbuilt offers 1" drop and 3" drop trailing arms. Any benefit of going with a 1" vs 3" ? My truck has 3" coils in the back right now. I'm looking to get lower and may end up bagging it in the future.

Also can someone that have their tubular crossmember take a measurement for me? What is the width between the 2 brackets that the trailing arms bolt to?
