84 K10, Battery? Starter? Ignition Switch?

I changed the fuel pump today, after going to start the truck I ran into a couple problems. I couldn't get it to start, I cranked it many times, pumped the gas a bit then all of a sudden nothing.

I'm not sure what happened but it was cranking fine then all of a sudden I got zero response from the ignition. I still had lights and the voltage gauge was reading something close to 11 or 12 volts but no starter reaction. I left it alone for a while thinking I may have overworked the starter but when I came back I noticed turning the key would kill the power in the truck for a few minutes, I noticed this when the dome light cut out and kicked back on after a few minutes. So, did I kill the battery, starter, or is there a short in the ignition switch, and how do I figure out what's wrong?

My truck is stuck in my apartment complex's lot and I can't have a disabled vehicle parked here for too long so I would appreciate any help to get me mobile as soon as possible. Thanks.
